Alive? Dead? What are your thoughts...
I personally believe that she survived by some weird circumstance. It seems that I had read somewhere that Brandon was supposed to answer the "who killed Asmodean" question in the final three books and seeing as how it was not answered in this one and if Graendal did kill Asmodean, who will reveal it later on. I doubt that she had cohorts in the Asmodean assassination, much less would speak about it in casual conversation with the other Chosen.
Just a couple of thoughts to chew on...

She was one of my favorite Forsaken so I wish she'd had a big moment for herself, but her death is a huge moment in Rand's character progression. So much of the weight of that scene is just gone (in my opinion) if she managed to wiggle out of it.
Graendal's fate?

I think it's fair to say at this point that Graendal did not kill Asmodean.

Dead as Dumbledore. But why does it preclude her from being Asmo's killer?

Right. That info could easily be revealed through the POV of another. *NM*

Actually, the one that Rand had Nynaeve study earlier was more complex.

Alive. It's the simplest answer for me, especially considering that Rand knew she was more cunning
