Clearly anyone with her level of knowledge of Compulsion becomes a bigger threat, not just Someryn. Why would Graendal teach one of the Black Ajah her skills when that woman only needs to get an angreal or link with some of her buddies to beat up Graendal with it?

She's seen evidence of at least one very strong woman, why should she think Sommeryn is the only Aiel with strength? Given that they are Aiel she knows they won't have angreal and may even know that they don't know how to link either!

As for teaching a BA woman ... for the same reasons Alviarin was taught to Travel... at some point a henchman needs certain skills to do your bidding.

Dude, stop being silly. She says 'them'. I will not teach them, and she won't let Someryn teach others with Compulsion. She considers Someryn to be a direct threat to her if she gains knowledge, but she also doesn't want the others taught.
