Splitting flows 14 ways maybe a neat trick, but I would be far more impressed if I saw Egwene actually do something usefull. I think the only channeling thing she has done that is impressive is the whole cuendillar thing. And arguably traveling (though she did have help). When it came to the actual Seanchan fight, she did not demonstrate any superiour skill.

As for AS test, thats meaningless to me. Every AS in the series has passed that. Inluding the utterly incompetent ones. It is just a question of practise. As for the RJ quote, when did he say that? In TGS we see Nynaeve being taught the 100 weaves in the test and she learns and performs them with ease. The idea that Nynaeve in TGS could not pass the AS test is absurd.

On the whole, I would say that neither of the two could truly be considered among the "elite". But Nynaeve is certainly closer than Egwene, and if it actually came to a OP-duel Nynaeve would most certainly defeat Egwene. Whatever accomplisments Egwene has done, they are mostly on the political arena. And ofcourse she has the natural dreaming talent. When it comes to OP, I don't think she is all that special.
