What about Lan vs. Galad? Isn't Galad a better swordsman than Gawyn? Or has Gawyn improved THAT much? And then, what about the variables? What would Lan and Gawyn be fighting for? And can we discount the fact that Nynaeve would step in if she felt Gawyn might hurt Lan and that Nynaeve can kick Egwene's butt asleep?


Egwene has actual fighting skills (as seen when she fought off the Seanchan), Nynaeve, while a powerhouse doesn't have nearly Egwene's skill.


Egwene has skill and shown it in battle (although, not in 1v1 combat - still, you have to imagine it would help). Nynaeve has beaten Moghedien. Big whoop that.

But if they had to fight without the Power (think wrestling, swords, spears, etc.), I think Nynaeve would win.
