Obviously if the weaves weren't executed, the adherent would fail, but it's not the main purpose of the test. And to think that Nynaeve would have trouble with that facet is ridiculous. From The Great Hunt where even before she has learned to actively channel, she can repeat any weave after seeing it just once, to The Gathering Storm where she actually has no problem learning the very weaves involved in the test, it is pretty much an established fact that learning weaves is not a difficulty for Nynaeve.
