I understand your position. You want to probe the possibility that Graendal is still alive. But you've done so (over enough threads that viewing the purpose of this one as anything less than another go at pushing your theory is hard to say the least), and there's really nothing you've come up with thus far that points to her being ALIVE.

As a proponent of a theory, the burden of proof lies upon you. That means, if you want to take the position that Graendal lives, you need to give some pretty convincing evidence. Everything so far is circumstantial.

As for the "obvious discrepancies", I suggested that perhaps Graendal moved her lair (which is 100% in line with her personality, given that she considers that Sammael may still live and therefore that her old lair might be compromised). If you wish to state that there is an "obvious discrepancy", then you should consider that they might NOT mean that "something doesn't quite add up in Graendal's death".



I think that I should point out here that I would find Graendal's survival a pleasant (though frankly unbelievable) surprise. I was kind of sad that she didn't get a proper on-screen death, but at the same time, Rand really did pull an unexpected move, unlike anything he'd ever done before, and I have no issue with how events played out. Everything seems entirely believable to me. The only bit that was slightly off was finding the lair in the first place, which relied on Ta'veren (a concept which I live with, but is annoying like Deus Ex Machina). To claim that Graendal set this up is beyond plausibility (plus if Kerb was a plant, why not consider the possibility that Moridin planted him to lead Rand to Graendal?).

I've given up hope of dampening your efforts to push this debate further. Even if you do find one or two inexplicable plot holes (and none that you have pointed out so far are close to inexplicable), what's the point?
