so you think a kid who has likely never even seen a map knows the name of a castle darius_sedai Send a noteboard - 14/02/2010 10:09:55 PM
that was "largely forgotten by the general populace"? That's yet another oddity IMO, Kerb's dying breath information naming a place only a handful of cartographers and librarians supposedly remember? Why would have been told the name of the fort? Also seems very convenient.

I just see so many discrepancies that it makes me question what we think we saw. As I've said before, if Graendal is dead, she's dead. I just think there are a ton of question marks around this scene and all the things leading up to it. And as Rugbyplayingashaman has said on a number of occasions, I'll 100% believe it when I see a body or the author tells us flat out that she's "toast". IMO it was a dramatic scene, but rather poorly executed from a macro view point.

It reminds me of when Sammael was killed, too many questions around his disappearance. And I still find it unfortunate that RJ finally had to just tell us in an interview that Sammael was in fact toast. Personally I feel like we were kind of robbed of getting to see him (and probably Graendal) killed on screen.
