But sorry as compelling as you may find your argument you are ignoring the fact that at no time before 9-11 did Bush advocate attacking anyone. He was president for months before the attack and never mentioned it. If you are going to argue that Bush wanted to attack Iraq before 9-11 you will need show that Bush wanted to attack Iraq before 9-11 and not that some people who advised him thought Iraq was a threat before 9-11.


You're the one who brought up Bush specifically. What I originally said was, and I quote, "I think the administration at the time capitalized on it in order to achieve their goal of attacking Iraq, but there's no way they actually caused 9/11 themselves."

I did not say Bush. You said Bush, in your reply to me. In my reply to you, I focused once again on the administration around Bush and the PNAC connections. It seems to me that you are having some sort of disconnect here about everything I'm saying. Not once in any of my posts here have I said, in your words "that Bush wanted to attack Iraq before 9-11". I dare you to find a place where I said that. If you can't, I would be happy if you'd admit that you've completely misunderstood me.

I'm fine with criticism, but only if it's based on things I actually said, not things you imagined me saying.
