I'm not saying this sequence of events isn't different. I'm just saying it won't change the kinds of those on this board who slavishly follow Trump. In their eyes, if Trump does it, it must be right.

I have been surprised by damookster at least being honest that the trust or falsehood of these allegations don't matter to him since he feels he has an economic stake in Trump's survival. That's something I never expected to see. But it doesn't change the fact that what allegations of what would clearly by a shocking crime by the President doesn't cause his supporters to question what it is they're on the side of.


I don't know this answer and any one who says they know this answer is lying to you even if their gut is convinced they are right plus correct. What was the thing about the Oath Rod, you could still lie if you convince the lie was the truth. Human perception and the conceptual models we build are always in tension and we never know the validity of the model till we test it.

I can create dozens of stories that this may be the moment it breaks and it may not be, a boundless amount of stories I can create. That is the power of ambiguity and liminal spaces. So shrug ¯_(ツ)_/¯
