Bearing in mind that (admittedly mad) LTT still thinks the reason the DOs counterstrike was possible was due to the fact there were no women available to link.

Nothing. I don't know why it should. The Dream shows nothing about the outcome, and we also can only speculate about the outcome. Unless you have a secret letter from RJ revealing the most important plot point of the series to you...

How does her dream show any such thing? It shows Rand breaking Selas and dooming the world. Egwene's reaction isn't even in it!

Just that it happens. Its other stuff that hints at the results...
