Egwene got the meaning her Dream when she met Rand. She has done that before, getting the meaning of a Dream well after having seen it.
Could you provide examples of Dreams whose meaning she came to believe after the fact? There are a number of symbols she interprets immediately, but I don't remember any where she later just fitted a convenient meaning onto them. The single example of subsequent interpretation I can find is from LOC, the understanding that Gawyn would be her Warder: "She had not realised the words were coming out of her mouth until they did, but once they did, she knew they were true. That dream." One example of that I can remember is this dream:
"Mat being followed by a man who was not there ... or maybe more than one, but in some way there was no one there", which she figured out later it was about Mat being cased by a Gray Man.
