We don't actually know who is responsible for each torment. All we have are fragments, and some of those fragments lay the blame for the most painful at Egwene's feet. And even if what you say is completely truthful – evidently it wasn't out of line enough for virtuous Egwene or any of her partisans to object at the time. What does she say?
