Being forced to listen through 45 minutes of Egwene's thoughts has reminded me all over again why I skim through virtually every Aes Sedai chapter.

This was cruelty beyond human tolerance, administered to me by Tor.

Ah well, at least I can now skip that entire chapter when I get the actual book.

Small mercy, but I'm thankful for it nevertheless.


This chapter contained a fascinating wealth of foreshadowing and character development.
When the Wolf King carries the hammer, thus are the final days known. When the fox marries the raven, and the trumpets of battle are blown.
