Should be perfectly feasible TheUltimateReality Send a noteboard - 11/02/2012 12:28:47 PM
Full plate armor consists of multiple armor plates connected together either with metal connectors or leather toggles. Converting each plate individually once shaped and then connecting them into a suit as normal shouldn't pose any problem at all.

As with any armor, you would still need the padding layers beneath the armor shell, something that has been forgotten by many conventioneers dressing up as their favorite character. The padding absorbs the shock and the armor absorbs the penetration of the blow.

Using cuendillar as armor would be as effective as steel against sword, axe and hammer blows and much more effective against arrow and crossbow bolts as the head wouldn't penetrate the armor.
