So I don't see how you jump from "a little hard pressed" to "barely".


The point of the quote remains the same ... Egwene and Elayne are more skilled channelers and have better control of their emotions. It's not just RJ that points it out ... the Kin call her "clumsy" and Cadsuane notes that her skill outside of Healing is practically non-existent.
