No, I wouldn't call Asmodean fighting Rand with saidin a duel with the Power. Nor would I call Rahvin vs Rand, which you also consider to be a wrestling match. Get a grip.

Seriously, you've missed some of the main points RJ had in the series ... one being along the lines of "The pen is mightier than the sword" ... just in case you still can't figure that out ... Skill trumps Strength.


Poetic, but it's only a theme because you want it to be, and because you wanted to insert a saying. I've also got a theme ... don't go pick a fight with an elephant. It's sound logic actually, and an equally valid theme in the series. Despite all your whining, an untrained farmboy with loads of power has send the previous Age's best running with their tails between their legs.
