It's only mentioned in passing, but Rand says that he had to do a bunch of research before he figured out where Graendal was.


There is no mention of "a bunch of research" ... not to mention all this happened in a couple of days, he learns of NB from Kerb on May 18th and BF's the place on the 21st. And in the meantime he goes to meet the Seanchan.
