I offer no evidence that Graendal is alive, nor do I think it's out of the question that she is dead. I think we've either been cleverly set up to believe she is dead, or that the various scene's around her death were written with very little attention to previous information.
I've said in many posts that I'm on the fence with this issue, and have never offered one big theory ... I've seen several on here, but nothing is convincing enough (on either side of the debate) to have me jump on board.
I can only say that it's clear that the Graendal scene's have left a lot of questions that are not yet answered.
