and not the ACLU using her case for their own means?


The ACLU often encourages people to pursue cases when maybe it's not really in their best interests to do so, but they hardly force people to, and I gather they are pretty good about warning people upfront of the consequences, especially younger people. It was either her choice or she's too immature to be pursuing this, either way... I imagine she contacted them, not the other way around.
