As for her, she doesn't get much sympathy from me. She tried to use the courts to change things to her specifications, the school pushed back, and now the prom is canceled. She ruined it for everybody because she couldn't have her way.

I think you ought to do some Mad Libs with your posts some time. Just replace [gay] with [black] and see where that takes you. Or [gay] with [female]. Or, you know, any other minority. Because most (read: all I've seen so far) of your arguments seem to be the "they're getting out of their place and causing trouble and now we're on a slippery slope of moral decay" that's characterized, well, virtually every opposition to civil rights for the past century and a half.
