If you want Feinstein investigated, I'm all for it, but on the face of it, her statement that she was respecting Dr. Blasey's request for anonymity is supported by... Dr. Blasey's request for anonymity. The letter is out there. Read it for yourself.
I did read it, and it still doesn't ring true to me.
I'm done with investigations. I very much admit that this is a function of my profession. It's usually referred to here as "Paralysis by Analysis". Where we spend way too much time investigating, and not enough time making decisions. We go with the facts that we have in evidence. We have Kavanaugh's entire judicial record right here. What's the problem? There is nothing in his file that says he is incompetent in any way, shape, or form. Let's vote. What? He's not of the political leaning that someone would want? Not a factor. The court is not supposed to be political. It rules by the law, not what the individual leans towards. His record indicates this. Let's vote.
In life, we often have to make decisions when we would really like to have more information, but oftentimes it is better to make the decision and go with it.
