Definitely Mesana-- but I was wondering if the Shadar Logoth taint leaked onto Elaida a little

Fain did seem to have a way to blindsight and poison the opinions of various leaders such as Niall (although he wasn't effective with Turak).
How much of the energy that corrupted Shadar Logoth has also infected Elaida? That is what I referring to.
I know that Alviarin, Mesaana, and the Black Ajah have definitely played a big role as well
I don't know about Fain, but it seems more likely to me that Mesaana would be the one pulling the strings at this point. Mesaana wants to destroy the White Tower, and egging Elaida along the crazy train with a little well-placed compulsion is only going to help. I feel really wary about what Mesaana has planned; I think there's a lot going on that we don't necessarily know about. She seemed pretty happy with her accomplishments at the Forsaken meeting in the prologue ... I can't wait to find out what's going to happen.

Does anyone else think it is possible that a good part of Elaida's extreme behavior may stem from Padan Fain's Mordeth-suspicion rubbing off on Elaida?
Elaida was always a bit crazy, but her recent behavior reeks that she is not in her right mind. Just as Egwene noted, Egwene no longer needs to speed Elaida's descent as Amyrlin. Elaida is already doing that well enough herself.
How much of this be Fain's nature rubbing off on Elaida?
