I am begining to think that your post should have been titled 'Casually accepting Graendal's death would imply a major logical flaw in the reasoning of posters'.
I'm with you in this regard; I'm on the fence with a lot of things in this series (with more being added every day); her death, however, and the events leading up to it don't make sense. I don't 'want' her to be alive, even if she's one of my favorites - I just think there is an equal likelihood she survived.
I think it's easy to forget who's who on a faceless board; I've been saying that the body count should be higher for some time, now. IE: I am not personally invested in any of these characters and I've been saying that Moiraine should stay dead for quite some time now.
Bottom line: if a poster actually said "Well, it is possible that BS didn't execute the scene that well thus the sloppy way the poisoner and the events leading up to their death were handled", I would actually be more inclined to believe she was killed than "Wow! Did you see what Rand did with the Choedan Kal!?! She must be dead, because there is no way anyone could have survived that attack!".
