As I noted in an earlier reply I would personally be more inclined to give money to PP than I would RFTC because I think they play an important role and have a more real world impact. Yes I am being detached and that is intentional. Do I think it is a shitty situation? yes I do. I even think that amazingly Joel may have a point and the personal politics of some of the leadership may be playing a role in this but I also think in the end distancing themselves from PP is in the best long term interest RFTC. That opinion doesn't reflect my attitude on the worthiness of either group I am simply talking math. I find it helps to stay detached for that sort of thing. I might agree with the argument that RFTC should have taken a moral stand on the issue but I think it would be risky for them and I think it is reasonable to do what they can to not be publicly attached to PP.

I do care about the issue of breast cancer though, we have been told my daughter should get early screening because my aunt and fist cousin both dies of breast cancer. My cousin was only 33 when she died and she left three kids and a clueless husband behind when she did. My father and both his siblings had cancer so rest assured my detachment is forced. Keep in mind I am a conservative male discussing women's reproductive health issues will liberal females. There really is no sane way to that but detached might at least let me keep my head attached.
