As to the rest, my assumption is based on "Republican=hates Planned Parenthood, because of abortion." Not always the case, but a pretty good general rule; I am sure your aunt would agree (RINOs excepted, of course. ;))

I mean, OK, sure there are pro choice Republicans, and I did concede that in the quoted comment, but not many who have been part of every Republican White House in the last 35 years. VERY few who hire VPs of public policy after they promised the state of GA to end funding for Planned Parenthoods breast cancer screenings once elected (sound at all familiar...? ;)) There are devoutly religious Democrats, too, but if

1) A Democrat was running the Boy Scouts,
2) Another Democrat ran for governor promising to ban bibles from schools,
3) The second Democrat lost the election and took an executive position with the Boy Scouts six month later and
4) Eight months after THAT the Boy Scouts banned bibles from all meetings,

what would you figure probably happened? An amazing string of coincidences within a little over a year?

I linked Huff Post because the first place I saw the mention of Handel was a Seattle blog post and I wanted something a little more reliable.
