If you want to seriously discuss what makes something aesthetically pleasing, list something that is considered "serious literature" that you've read so we can compare that author's style with Jordan's. If you haven't read Lolita then Lolita isn't a good example because I'm not going to re-type massive sections of the novel in an attempt to convince you, especially when you don't seem to seriously want to discuss this.
