I was arguing generally about the aesthetic value of a book, and then I said that the intro to Lolita shows that it was well-written. I cited the opening lines. They are well-written. The word flow is good, the sentences alternate between long and short to punctuate and accent the prose in the right spots and the prose itself is vivid.

If that's not an answer then you are as incapable of understanding my answers as you claim I am of giving them. In either case, I don't care whether or not you reply to me. That's an entirely voluntary matter on your part.
