A person in cuendillar plate would be able to virtually stroll around the battlefield with impunity. Especially since the material would be able to be shaped so thinly that intricate deflection angles, and effective force redirection (think of how a roof truss works) would become feasible.
Prperly structured you could virtually stand there and take a nap while someone pounded on you with a hammer, if you could stand the noise.
