2- if it's merely sayin she linked but then he took control thats still within the bounds. i believe rand did the same thing and i seem to recall one of the girls mentioning something along these lines, maybe when nyneave took over from elayne or the sea folk woman(caire?) when they used the bowl.
if it's just taking the link's control and not actually initiating the link then that may be something that can happen if the one in charge of the link isn't trying to keep control, kinda thing
