People fail to notice that in ToM, Egwene had no qualms offering herself up as bait for an OP conflict with Mesaana. This was before the TAR plan was finalized, when she was working hard to lure Mesaana to her rooms. Why would she do that if she has no hope of facing Mesaana?

And Darius... I really think raw vs. effective strength lists only confuse the issue. RJ made it clear in his bell curve statement that raw strength is a meaningless number. What really matters is the effectiveness of your channeling ability, which has to include the dexterity part too. We have no real clue what the raw strength difference between men and women is. Based on Androl's statement, I wouldn't hold out hope for the raw strength of women being much lower than their effective strength. What Androl felt was obviously Pevara's raw strength, and that in itself was above the average man's strength, or he wouldn't have compared her to strong men. Which means that Pevara's raw strength was at average strength range at least, not well below it at 25-30.
