Given that the topic of discussion is police activity, the obvious incongruity of the Till case should have been an indication of an honest mistake.


Also, you may not know, but Emmett Till was kidnapped, beaten, shot, then dumped in a river. Do you know of a crime for which that is acceptable punishment?


Just for the record, consequences are not the same as punishment. It is only acceptable discussion of punishment if it was something to which the individual in question was subjected as a result of a formal disciplinary or court proceeding.

What happened to Emmet Till is more akin to what BLM & their ilk is doing with their assassinations of cops or assaults on Trump voters, or the LA riots in response to the Rodney King verdict.
