... why you defend GRMM to the death? I understand being a fan and defending something you like, but you go so far above and beyond the call of duty that it's difficult to attribute your fandom to the "I just dig the books" school.

What is it about these books that has you fighting tooth and nail with absolutely anyone who criticizes absolutely anything about them?
