We don't have any information on how many wilders there are or their relative strength. It would explain why we've seen virtually no channelers in the very high power levels for a while until recently. Given the lack of education about channelling in Randland and the towers complete lack f recruitment it might just be that virtually all the wilders (and therefore the strongest channelers) aren't going to the tower.


First:

But still, for the sake of argument, even if 20% of the channeling population were wilders, and even if wilders were all strong enough to become Aes Sedai, and even assuming that the 1000 novices contains no wilders, that still wouldn't be enough to make the numbers right.
