Yet neither of them are at full potential and at least equal a Forsaken darius_sedai Send a noteboard - 30/10/2012 03:45:24 PM
Only Rand, Mo, Aviendha and Egwene are in the room at that point.

Rand wants to go kill Rahvin and Moiraine says other might be there, and that 'these two' might be able to overwhelm one of them. Who will they overwhelm.... Ishamael? Moghedien? Does overwhelm mean that they are as powerful as one of the Forsaken or much stronger? We have no evidence either way. I

My personal opinion is that together that are about as strong as Lanfear/Ishamael. Nynaeve only had to be as strong as Moghedien to defeat her.

Your scale places Egwene and Aviendha's full potential at slightly above half of Lanfear, but at the time of this quote neither is at that potential and still combined they are considered strong enough to overwhelm a Foraken. Moiraine would be operating off of Nynaeve's full potential not her current strength here as she would know all the Forsaken would be at full potential. However, she would be operating off of Egwene and Aviendha's current strength as that is what would be relevant to the conversation of facing a Forsaken NOW.

On your scale Egwene may be as high as 50 at this time, but Aviendha could be no higher than a 30 as she has only just begun Channeling and there is no way that in only a few months she is already as strong as Moiraine. Thus combined they would only be an 80 and therefore nowhere near "overwhelming" a Forsaken.

Much more likely that Egwene is closer to 65-70 at this point and Aviendha 45-50 placing Moiraine around 50-55.
