Shai'tan is not a superhuman child painting on the wall. He is the equal and antithesis of the Creator, he too existed before Creation, he too existed outside time, until he was trapped in the Pattern.
When the Creator created existence and the Pattern, he trapped Shai'tan within. The Wheel wove a Pattern infinitely back and infinitely forward from that point, but that did not give Shai'tan retrospective power to effects his release prior to that moment.
Shai'tan is temporally linear within an otherwise circular timeline - that's the point of the initial post - the Wheel will turn infinitely until Shai'tan's timeline reaches it's end - the destruction of the Pattern - and he is freed from time once again.

The first rule of being a ninja is "do no harm". Unless you intend to do harm, then do lots of harm.
