One thing I got to say about Robert Jordan... Crackbrained Asha'man Send a noteboard - 18/09/2009 03:40:20 AM
...when the man got a backlash for doing A New Spring he was like 'whoa, ok I'll just finish off the series I was doing before I write anything else'.

Knife of Dreams and Feast for Crows where both released in 2005 IIRC and Maritin had some of DoD written, and yet despite dieing RJ was still able to get his next book in his series out to fans first.

No matter which author you like better its pretty easy to see which one seems to pay attention to the wishes of his fans more.

not being out yet. I just read ASoIaF over the past two weeks and I'm extrememly frustrated by his little note at the end of Feast for Crows. I mean seriously, saying that he's gonna have DoD out in 2006 and he hasn't even finished the first draft yet as of mid 2009?
