This validates my point (which you have completely disagreed with before) that Aes Sedai make a terrible random sampling. They're a very skewed sample, and the best example of that is the 1000 novices Egwene's proclamation brings.
RJ said that 62.5% of women were strong enough to become Aes Sedai, yet only 20% of Egwene's 1000 novices are strong enough. What possible explanation could there be for this enormous bias?
Even if Aes Sedai only pick up a small percentage of all potential channelers, there is still no logical reason under the sun why this small sample should be so biased towards the weaker side of the Mean.
The sample should still represent the distribution of the larger population it was drawn from.
