Re: This debate is restricted by the "largest Gateway possible" issue.

Cadsuane is an interesting case. At a time when Elayne and Aviendha are making Gateways a little taller than a man, Cadsuane has no issues making a Gateway large enough for a tall horse and its rider to go through with ease.
And yet again we're talking about a woman with massive will, extremely observant of her surroundings and who's another of the extremely well-travelled characters we know. She spent most of her life roaming around the Westlands.
It does appear being a great traveller does make your gateway weave more efficient/powerful.

I don't know if you guys have discussed this yet, but Androl says as much. He mentions that he suspects his Talent is due to being so well Travelled.
As a side discussion, I wonder if women of the White or Brown ajah are weaker Travellers because they spend so much time in the WT? That would be VERY interesting if it was confirmed.
Mind you, Cadsuane has an angreal in her paralis net. It might be how she made a very large gateway.
Yes, usually an angreal kicks you out of any debate which is frustrating. She may have been using it.
