I will give his "review" the level of commenary that it deserves; based on its depth of understanding and exploration, & level of intellegence and education shown.
It sucks 8^P Plbttt <- you need a smiley for this one noting fits.
It does not suck because of its opinioni, it sucks because of its lack of content.

Roberts certainly managed to have a long winded review that said pretty much nothing other than:
"Jordan is unoriginal and long winded"
Plus I think he said a bit more than that - that the characterizations were dull, his handling of certain character situations was rather heavy-handed, and that the pacing grows worse with each succeeding volume

I have no respect for this man. He's supposed to be a professor, yet we learn nothing from his reviews aside from the fact that he's snide and lazy. I think someone else mentioned that he would (or should) fail a student who wrote such poor reviews on such little research.
I don't particularly care that he doesn't like the books, but for the love of god stop whining about the same thing for pages on end!
So should any respect be shown to you for showing no respect for the opinions of one who holds different takes than you? Of course, I'm coming at this from someone who's read several reviews of his over the past few years. Some I agreed with, others I had completely different takes. But I've never felt the antipathy that you seem to show to the person writing the review. Hate the review all you want, but what personal harm have you taken from the fact that Roberts did not like one of your favorite series?
