Larry:
Fine you don't like it either. That is nice. You're as welcome to your opinion as he is. Now take it somewhere it will be appreciated. I am not going to go comment on his blog because there is no point in debating someone who ss not making any points that are relevent, and neither did you in your review. Both can be summed up with "I don't like it." Each of you are much more guilty of "fluffing" than RJ ever dreamed of being. What little bit of entertainment can be garnered from the sarcasm is far outweighed by the stupididty of the comments. My 12 year old daughter can dish out better.
personally I am extremely glad he included as much back story asd he did. I am please at the number and complexities of the various threads of the plot. I love how somethign will get started and then just left behind with no resolution. I wish he had done so more. Doing this made the story more "real" to me, becuase life is neither simple nor wrapped up by page 586.

You really don't know the history of that CoT "review," do you? I think Sidious is one of the rare few who was active back then that will recall why I gave those chapter summaries and if he recalls it, he'll probably agree with me when I say that it was tongue-in-cheek and done in large part at the bequest of a few of the more active members back then. I know DomA and Linda will remember it...and Dom even gave me some info on KoD so I could do the same without even having read the book. So to say to take it "where it is appreciated" is quite amusing, considering the origins of said post, no?
Too bad I don't think I have the copy of the commentaries on the Elayne bath scene. I seem to recall that one being the most popular one...
