I went over to look at the comments and it does please me to see people standing up for RJ so aggressively, and raising valid points too. I'm hoping this will make the Professor realise he is not a stand-up comedian, and that people who come to his blog want quality statements, and not the day's best one-liner.

That said, Roberts has the right to write whatever he wants on his blog. It is his after all. I'm just irritated that his blog is here.


Well, I would have to say that while fionwe/Raj's comments were well-received and did generate some interesting responses from Roberts, the other comments were more than just "aggressive." Unless you believe those who disagree on their personal blogs deserve to receive those sorts of comments? And how would you know who is his audience? You never did read the "worldbling" post from a year ago, did you? That one was indeed hilarious and his "audience" did seem to enjoy that one...
